Welcome to Abderus Abyssinians
We are based in the quiet town of Carnoustie on the east coast of Scotland, probably best known for its world-class golf courses.
Since early childhood cats have been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until 2001 that the first Abyssinian arrived. Since then I have regularly exhibited my neuters at cat shows and through this I became increasingly interested in breeding. In 2005 my Abyssinian family had the addition of the foundation queen of Abderus Abyssinians (Rosa), and the first litter of Abderus Abyssinians was born in November 2006. Occasionally I may have kittens looking for permanent loving homes. More details can be found on the Kittens page where you will be able to watch their progress as they grow from cute bundles of fur into mischievous youngsters. Kitten enquiries are always welcome.
