Abderus Ariadne (Star) (Usual carrying sorrel and possibly dilute. PK deficiency negative) |
|
|
| Introducing our newest addition to the family, Star. Star is the daughter of Rosa from her second litter (see here) to Riverfern Back In Black. It was always my intention to keep a kitten from this litter to see how it would develop and to take to a few shows. From the day she was born Star had something about her that set her apart from her siblings, though whether this will mean a successful show career is another matter! She is a sweet natured little girl and loves her mum the best, though Dillon the dog comes a close second! |

Glendavan Kissin Dynamite (Flora) (Usual carrying sorrel and possibly dilute. PK deficiency negative. PRA normal) |

Flora arrived with us full of energy and mischief in March 2007. She is very gentle and affectionate, and is a complete poser when it comes to having her photo taken (unlike all my other cats). This stunning little girl has a unique pedigree containing predominantly American blood but also an interesting mix of Canadian, Swedish and old British lines. Her mother is Champion Pinegrove Toledosunrise and her father FIFe International Grand Champion and TICA Triple Grand Champion Riverfern Back In Black. Many thanks to Louise and David Miskelly of Glendavan Abyssinians for trusting me with such a very special little girl. All going well Flora will be having her first litter of kittens late August 2008. |

Rosa is the foundation queen of Abderus Abyssinians. She was kindly entrusted to me by Maureen, Lenny and Lorraine Pontello (Pontaby Abyssinians) in November 2005. Her mother (Ch Abychat Honeycomb) is from British lines, and her father (GrCh One Shot From A’far) was imported by the Pontellos from Holland. Rosa has done well at shows both as a kitten and an adult. She takes after her father in both looks and personality, is very outgoing and playful and just hates to be left alone. Her favourite games are fetch-the-ball-of-paper and showing the other cats that she may be small but she’s definitely the boss!! In November 2006 Rosa had her first litter of kittens and she proved to be an excellent mother. She has recently given birth to her second litter (28th March 2008) and more details can be found on the Past Litters and News page. |
