Introducing Glendavan Socrates (Alfie). Alfie was born in September 2009 and came to us  when he was 13 weeks old, full of purrs and kisses. He is an affectionate, cuddly character who is very laid back and seemingly scared of nothing.

Despite having a heck of a lot of growing and maturing to do, Alfie became a father in July 2010 at the tender age of ten months, having kittens to our girl Rosa. Thankfully, despite his obvious 'stud boy' capabilities, he remains a big softy and still comes in the house and loves to play with the other cats, kittens and the dog. In December 2010 Alfie became a Champion in three straight shows, in May 2011 Grand Champion in another three straight shows, and currently has one Imperial and one Reserve Imperial certificate.

Alfie was bred by Louise and David Miskelly at Glendavan Abyssinians, his father the stunning  Imperial Grand Champion Glendavan Kaiser Soeze and his mother Champion Wavetail Ophelia (you can view Alfie's pedigree here). In keeping with his breeding, Alfie is very 'English' in type and I hope that in time he will be used to introduce these traditional characteristics (particularly size!) into the kittens I breed. It goes without saying that I have to send a huge thank you to Louise and David for trusting me with such a precious boy.
